Youth Unite Through Clubs, Chase Dreams Together — Leshan Vocational and Technical College's "Chinese-Foreign Culture Festival" & Youth Season Concludes Successfully

Time:2026-05-21

On May 20, 2026, the Youth Culture Square at Leshan Vocational and Technical College (LVTC) was bustling with cheers, music, and dance. The "Youth Unite Through Clubs, Chase Dreams Together" Youth Season event, hosted by the College Youth League Committee and organized by the Club Management Center, was held with great enthusiasm. As a core part of the event, the "Third Chinese-Foreign Culture Festival" used culture as a bridge and youth as its theme, drawing active participation from faculty, students, and international students alike, becoming a vibrant highlight on campus.

During the event, the club exhibition area and the international student culture zone complemented each other perfectly. 41 student clubs showcased their unique strengths, offering a variety of interactive experiences based on their respective missions, attracting students to visit, participate, and vote. Meanwhile, international students from countries including Laos, Thailand, Nepal, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, and Cambodia, dressed in traditional attire, presented cultural displays featuring their home cuisines, handicrafts, and traditional games.

At the international student zone, a series of fun activities took turns, including sepak takraw juggling, language games, mountain name matching, fish basket toss, henna hand painting, stone picking, sheep anklebone game, and Indonesian island puzzles. Faculty and students enjoyed the charm of diverse cultures amidst laughter and joy. Exotic flavors such as Laotian coffee, Thai milk tea, Nepalese chicken salad, Bangladeshi fuchka, Tajik salted milk tea, Kyrgyz nomadic snacks, Indonesian noodles, and Cambodian rice pudding kept visitors coming back for more.

International students and club members took to the stage together, delivering a cross-border visual and musical feast. Laotian students performed traditional dances, Thai students sang melodious folk songs, and students from Nepal and Bangladesh ignited the crowd with passionate rhythms. On stage, young people of different skin colors and languages joined hands and stood shoulder to shoulder, singing and dancing, showcasing the open, inclusive, and dynamic campus culture of LVTC.

As an important part of this Youth Season, the "Pepsi Strongest Voice" singing competition also reached its thrilling finale. Thai international student Miffy won second place with an emotionally charged and powerfully staged English song.

The "Youth Unite Through Clubs, Chase Dreams Together" Youth Season event was not only a grand showcase of campus culture but also a vivid practice of young people from China and abroad connecting heart to heart and blending cultures.
